  Animals are always placed on an intravenous drip during surgery to help maintain their blood pressure and to ensure rapid access to the vein in case of an emergency. Our anesthetic procedures include the use of respiratory, blood pressure and heart rate monitors. We also pay particular attention to managing pre- and post-surgical pain.
