At the Pierrefonds Animal Hospital, our mission is to provide our clients and their pets with the highest quality of care and services marked with compassion.

Excellence in the Practice of Veterinary Medicine since 1973

The Pierrefonds Animal Hospital was founded in 1973 by Drs. Norman Lawlor, Pierre Charbonneau, Rémi Thivierge and Paul Major. Drs. Laurie Dunbar, Violaine de Montigny and Florence Erdmann now round off the attending staff team. Subsequently to this, several veterinarians have joined that team. They are Drs. Anne-Marie Masse, Dominique Laplante, Nancy Duguay, Claudia Gilbert, Marie-Claude Favreau and Naomi Dicks; they all practise veterinary medicine with a view to providing the best possible care to the animals in need of it, in a spirit of sharing and of keeping up with the continual advances in medical knowledge.

Today our institution, the Pierrefonds Animal Hospital, numbers over 50 employees. It ranks as the largest animal hospital in the West Island. As a member of both the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) and the Ordre des médecins vétérinaires du Québec, our standards of quality care are considered to be among the highest in North America.
