Originally from Ville St-Laurent, Paul-Guy Major began his studies in the Department of Pharmacology, at the University of Montreal. His love of nature and hunting dogs soon changed his orientation towards that of Veterinary Medicine. He graduated in 1971 and the following year completed an internship at the Faculty as a clinician in small animal medicine and surgery.
Since 1972 he has been working in this field, initially at the Hudson Animal Hospital and then at Pierrefonds Animal Hospital. His areas of particular interest are ophthalmology, dermatology and soft tissue surgery. When he is not working, his passion for fly fishing and hunting with his dogs take him on many outdoor adventures!
